FOX THEATRE TO PRESENT CARS IN A GREAT SERIES FINISH

“We are speeding towards the end of this year’s Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival,” states Michelle Quiles, Marketing Director for the fabulous Fox Theatre.  “We’ve been going full-throttle all summer with some great blockbusters and we’re approaching the finish line.  We’re showing our final movie CARS on Sunday, August 20th at both 3 pm and 7 pm.  We’ll open two hours before each movie for lots of fun and prize giveaways.  We invite families and driving enthusiasts of all ages to join us for this delightful movie!”

The masterful storytellers and technical wizards at Pixar Animation Studios (Finding Nemo, The Incredibles) and Academy Award winning Director John Lasseter (Toy Story, A Bug’s Life) hit the road with CARS, a fast-paced comedy adventure.  Set inside the world of car racing, Lightening McQueen (voice of Luke Wilson) a hotshot rookie car who is driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line. Headed cross-country to the Big Piston Cup Championship in California, McQueen finds himself detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs where he meets some off-beat characters including a 1951 Hudson named Doc (voiced by Paul Newman) and a snazzy Porsche named Sally (the voice of Bonnie Hunt).  The all-star vocal cast also includes Richard Petty and Cheech Marin.  CARS features songs by artists with proven track records like: Sheryl Crow, Chuck Berry, Rascal Flatts, James Taylor, Brad Paisley and John Mayer.  CARS is a delight for drivers of all ages!
